How to search any gadget/item in heykya?

Click HEYKYA on Home page which redirects you to search page. Select Category, Brand and Serial No. you wants to search and click on "Search" button.

How to send message/contact if searched gadget/item found on database?

If searched gadget/item found on database, based on permission set by registered user, contact detail may or may not shown. if contact is shown, you can contact user directly or in either case you can click on contact shown and send private message via heykya.

How to sign up with heykya?

Click HEYKYA on Home page which redirects you to search page. Click on "sign in" link which pop up the login screen, down end of pop up click new user which redirect you to register page. Fill the details and register. On successfull registeration, verification link be sent to your email id which you need to verify to continue.

What to do if I don't receive verification link?

Click HEYKYA on Home page which redirects you to search page. Click on "sign in" link which pop up the login screen, down end of pop up click verification link which redirect you to email verification page. Provide your registered email and click "Send Verification Link" button.

How to reset password?

Click HEYKYA on Home page which redirects you to search page. Click on "sign in" link which pop up the login screen, down end of pop up click forgot password which redirect you to reset password page. Provide your registered email and click "Reset Password" button, which will reset your password and send it to your registered email id.

How to add gadgets/items to my login?

Once you sign in, you be redirected to My Items page or you can click on "My Items" tab if you already logged in.

    Adding gadgets/items is done in following 3 steps:
  • Click on "Add Item" button. Fill/select the details on Add Item pop up. Select "Publish Mode"(if you want to hide your contact details from others select "PRIVATE MESSAGE"). Click "Add" button to save and close the pop up.
  • Click link below status against your new gadget/item to update the status and other details. set status as "OWNED"(if you own the added item), "FOUND"(if added item is not yours) or "LOST"(if you want to report added item as lost).
  • Click edit icon against your item to upload your invoice if any, and upload invoice image having format png/jpg/jpeg/gif.

Are my details secured?

For any user searching gadget/item, unique serial number is mandatory. If any user provides correct combination of Category, Brand and Serial No then it displays the item status(OWNED,FOUND or LOST) with the contact details. Contact details be shown based on how you published your gadget/item.
